  6. Dinner – J hand-made noodles, and cooked them into a seafood-y soup.  Crazy!  But they were good.

With yesterday’s dinner as my inspiration (and the unopened, Costco-size bag of flounder in my freezer as motivation), I decided to make a noodle/scallop/shrimp/flounder soup for lunch tomorrow.  What went into the pot?  Well, water, of course.  Then some thyme, parsley, a bay leaf or two, salt, pepper, garlic (and lots of it).  Threw in the seafood, let it simmer for a few minutes, and voila.  I tasted the broth, and it’s surprisingly good.  The magic of throwing together random stuff.
